Earning a diploma/certificate of completion from the International Institute of Holistic Healing is not the same as being certified. In most states and in Canada, nutrition consulting is not a regulated profession, therefore, under common law, no registration or license is required to practice Nutrition Consulting. Your local library can provide information on the laws that may govern nutritional consultants in your particular state.
However, successfully completing the course from the International Institute of Holistic Healing would render you eligible to sit for the examination board of the AANC and earn the prestigious designation of Board-Certified Nutritional Consultant (C.N.C). The AANC, American Association of Nutritional Consultants, is a highly-esteemed and well-reputed organization. Prerequisites for examination applicants are at least one year of previous experience, either through employment or education.

2. Canyon College: NH730 - Modalities for Natural Health Care, a required 3-hour course in the ND Online Doctor of Naturopathy Degree Program. 4. Breyer State University: 6-hour NHC 510 Natural Health Care I Course and the 6-hour NHC 540 Natural Health Care II Course.
