INGREDIENTS:

Each 10 minim capsule contains 570 mg. of concentrated wheat germ oil from which fatty acids have been removed, resulting in an 8:1 concentrate of the remaining wheat germ oil factors: Octacosanol (2,000 mcg.). Contains 50% Vitamin E and lecithin.

PHYSIOLOGY:

This nutritional supplement contains factors to help increase endurance, stamina and vigor. One capsule provides more octacosanol than a bushel of whole wheat.

In wheat germ oil there is a "Neuromuscular Fraction" which has the potential to stimulate repair of nerve cells -- even in the brain, where such repair is supposed to be impossible. The neuromuscular fraction is a concentrate of the part of the oil which contains octacosanol. Octacosanol sometimes called the neuromuscular fraction, has the ability to repair the myelin sheath of damaged motor nerves. And, therefore, restores motor function in many instances. It contains the phosphatides, stearins, sterols, waxes, long chain alcohols, and other substances which can be really termed the unrefined portion of the wheat germ oil. In addition, studies indicate that octacosanol allows for the efficient conversion of food and storage fuels into biological energy, resulting in increased muscle strength, endurance and vigor. Other benefits include faster reaction and recovery times, increased fertility and sperm production and more comfortable pregnancy with less risk of toxemia and spontaneous abortion.

INDICATIONS:

Octacosanol has been effective in treating many cases of multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, post stroke, Parkinson's, and some paralytic conditions caused as a result of traumatic damage to motor nerves. The neuromuscular fraction is helpful in treating the following conditions:
